PSEA / Complaint Reporting for Social Workers (Employees) of the Rehabilitation Center of Youth (RCY) It is crucial that RCY employees, colleagues, participants, and contractors are aware of and adhere to the following guidelines regarding the Protection of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) within the community: 1. Zero Tolerance for Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA): All employees, colleagues, participants, and contractors are strictly prohibited from engaging in any form of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA). 2. Humanitarian Assistance is Free of SEA: No one is permitted to demand SEA in exchange for humanitarian aid and activities. All humanitarian assistance is provided based on the basic needs of the people and is entirely free of charge. 3. Know Your Humanitarian Services: You are encouraged to seek out information about humanitarian services in your community. Understand the objectives of organizations, their financial support programs, requirements for beneficiaries, and how they engage with the community. 4. Speak Up Against SEA: Do not remain silent if you witness SEA. If any RCY staff member asks for inappropriate actions such as SEA, please report it to the RCY Central Office. 5. Confidentiality of Complaints: There is no need to fear retaliation when sharing complaints or information about SEA or other inappropriate behaviors. Complaints are handled confidentially and will be addressed seriously, without affecting your access to humanitarian assistance. 6. Rights of All Individuals: Every individual, regardless of age, gender, disability, or specific needs, has the right to share their opinions about the distribution of humanitarian aid, including details about locations for kitchens, washrooms, etc., and the transparency and accountability of humanitarian organizations. 7. Complaints and Inappropriate Behavior: You are free to report inappropriate behavior, especially SEA, by any RCY staff member. Complaints can be shared without fear of consequences. 8. No Bribes or SEA Requests: You are not required to pay money, bribe, or accept SEA in exchange for receiving humanitarian aid. If any RCY staff member requests such actions, you are encouraged to report this behavior. 9. Reporting Channels: If you are unable to file a complaint yourself, you may share your concerns with a trusted friend or elder in the community who can contact the RCY office on your behalf.
