About RCY:

Rehabilitation Center of Youth (RCY) Is a non-profit, non-governmental organization and registered with Afghanistan Ministry of Economy on 2006 which registration number (645) working in various fields of construction, health, agriculture, education and social protection. Since 2017, the RCY has been operating in the field of orthopedic and physiotherapy services in Faryab province. This project is funded by Caritas Germany.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing the work plan and obtaining approval from the project manager.
  • Necessary coordination in the advancement of activities.
  • Implementation of Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) services to the needy and society.
  • Knowledge and understanding of how to apply CBR in different parts of society and geography.
  • Coordination with International/Local organizations and government departments to promote better educational, teaching and sports affairs in the CBR Department.
  • Registration of all activities in the database.
  • Regular creation of filing system.
  • Collecting accurate and timely figures of the activities of the CBR department.
  • Correct use of materials, tools and equipment related to the office
  • Regulating, maintaining and taking care of the property and goods of the department.
  • Providing accurate daily, monthly and quarterly reports to direct supervisors.
  • Raising the level of knowledge and capacity building.
  • Good behavior with clients and patients.
  • Compliance with all ethical code, code of conduct, disciplines introduced by the organization.
  • Obtaining complete knowledge about the organization and all the policies of the organization.
  • Inform the direct commander in time of any kind of accidents that have happened.
  • Cooperation in the department of administrative and financial management and goodwill with all employees during official hours.
  • Carrying out other tasks assigned by the department.

  • Ability to read, Write and speak fluent English language.
  • Able to work under heavy pressure situation.
  • Able to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work on time.
  • Ability to speak Pashto and Dari.
  • Showing good behavior and character with the community members and beneficiaries.
  • Strong communication skills required.
  • Should have a smartphone and ability to use smartphone.
  • Computer skills required particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel to various districts in the respective provinces.


Education / Experience Needed

  • Bachlor/Master degree
  • 2 years of experience
