About RCY:

Rehabilitation Center of Youth (RCY) Is a non-profit, non-governmental organization and registered with Afghanistan Ministry of Economy on 2006 which registration number (645) working in various fields of construction, health, agriculture, education and social protection. Since 2017, the RCY has been operating in the field of orthopedic and physiotherapy services in Faryab province. This project is funded by Caritas Germany.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of orthopedic services to patients.
  • Correct knowledge and understanding about diagnosing and ordering orthopedic devices to patients.
  • Registration of patients in the database.
  • Collect accurate and timely figures of orthopedic activities.
  • Correct use of orthopedic machineries, materials, equipment and systems.
  • Regulating, maintaining and taking care of the property and goods of the workshop.
  • Providing accurate daily, monthly and quarterly reports to direct supervisors.
  • Raising the level of knowledge and capacity building.
  • Good behavior with patients.
  • Compliance with all ethical code, code of conduct, disciplines introduced by RCY.
  • Obtaining complete knowledge about the organization and all the policies of RCY.
  • Inform the direct commander in time of any kind of accidents that have happened.
  • Carrying out other tasks assigned by the department.

Job Requirements:

  • 2 years of proven experience as ortho technician.
  • Having a diploma in orthopedic technician.
  • Familiarity with company policies and legal guidelines of the field.
  • Ability to learn a variety of job descriptions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
  • Good knowledge of computer.
