About RCY:

Rehabilitation Center of Youth (RCY) Is a non-profit, non-governmental organization and registered with Afghanistan Ministry of Economy on 2006 which registration number (645) working in various fields of construction, health, agriculture, education and social protection. RCY is operating in the field of orthopedic and physiotherapy services in Jalalabad, Khost, Daydundi and Herat provinces. This project is funded by Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Designing and implementing the work plan and obtaining approval from the project manager.
  2. Necessary coordination in the advancement of activities.
  3. Knowledge and understanding of how to apply finance in different parts of society and geography.
  4. Prepare and post receipts, deposits, purchase orders, invoices, refunds, and other standard bookkeeping tasks
  5. Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
  6. Review and process reimbursements
  7. Prepare, track, and reconcile ledgers and budgets
  8. Prepare and submit payroll
  9. Create financial and inventory reports
  10. Regular creation of filing system
  11. Providing accurate daily, monthly and quarterly reports to direct supervisors.
  12. Prepare and file organization tax documents
  13. Identify and correct miscalculations and financial discrepancies
  14. Run and update databases or financial system
  15. Correct use of materials, tools and equipment related to the office
  16. Regulating, maintaining and taking care of the property and goods of the department.
  17. Develop and streamline operational efficiencies
  18. Contact delinquent accounts
  19. Raising the level of knowledge and capacity building.
  20. Compliance with all ethical code, code of conduct, disciplines introduced by the organization.
  21. Obtaining complete knowledge about the organization and all the policies of the organization.
  22. Stay current with all regulations, requirements, and laws of government of Afghanistan
  23. Good behavior with clients and staff.
  24. Inform the direct commander in time of any kind of accidents that have happened.
  25. Carrying out other tasks assigned by the department.

Required Competencies:

  • Ability to read, Write and speak fluent English language.
  • Able to work under heavy pressure situation.
  • Able to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work on time.
  • Ability to speak Pashto and Dari.
  • Showing good behavior and character with the staff and beneficiaries.
  • Strong communication skills required.
  • Should have a smartphone and ability to use smartphone.
  • Computer skills required particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel to various districts in the respective provinces.

Education / Experience Needed:

Bachelor/Master degree of the relevant topic
3 years of experience
