Introduction of Rehabilitation Center of Youth (RCY)

Rehabilitation Center of Youth (RCY) is a non-profit organization, registered with Afghanistan's Ministry of Economy in 2006 (Registration Number: 645). RCY operates across various sectors, including construction, health, agriculture, education, and social protection, with regional offices in Faryab, Jawzjan, Balkh, Samangan, and Kabul. We provide vital services to vulnerable communities through humanitarian, development, and peace-building initiatives. RCY is dedicated to: Ensuring food security in partnership with WFP. Supporting fair food distribution through Community Food Assistance Committees (CFAC). Implementing health and nutrition programs for vulnerable populations. Offering education and vocational training for youth and women. Upholding transparency, accountability, and humanitarian standards. Our Key Partners: Caritas Germany – Funding the CBR-OWPC project in Maimana. ICRC – Supporting equipment for CBR-OWPC. La Chaine de l’Espoir – Collaborating on free patient treatment. Cure Hospital – Providing cleft palate and lip treatments under RCY's referral system. WFP – Assisting with food security and cash programs. Cordaid – Contributing to humanitarian and development efforts. Key Initiatives: Emergency Food & Cash Assistance. Health & Nutrition Programs. Community Engagement & Training. Monitoring & Reporting to ensure aid effectiveness. Protecting Vulnerable Communities: RCY prioritizes human dignity and safety through: PSEA & GBV Prevention – Safeguarding against exploitation and violence. Gender & Child Protection – Empowering women and ensuring child safety. Environmental Protection – Promoting sustainable practices. Fraud & Corruption Prevention – Ensuring transparency. Data Protection – Safeguarding beneficiary information. RCY carries out relief operations to help and assist victims of war disaster and combines this with development of its member in the society and RCY focuses on, society promotion, humanitarian values, disaster responses, and health and community care.
